This photo is of Northern's Memorial which sits in the center of campus from the doorway view from Krikac hall.

  1. The top and bottom of the window help a great deal in framing this photo. The exposure is great and the colors are really vibrant. The only problem I see is that the photo seems really flat; maybe next time try messing with the depth of field or make the frame less in focus.

  2. I like the window as a frame for your piece and the entire thing is really nicely balanced and centered. I almost feel like the window starts to feel more like the main focus then the memorial. Maybe adjusting your shutter speed will make the memorial more crisp and a little less foggy looking.

    framing the focus
    This is a good shot for showing the framing of the view with the overhang of kirkac. The light fixture gets in the way a little bit and distracts from the piece. I think maybe zooming in a little bit more might cut out that light and give you a little more depth of field while keeping the framing in there as well. :>
